This is a prayer is not only for the beautiful children I currently have or have had the pleasure of working with at two different special needsbut every child in every special needs school everywhere.

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help these beautiful children to be embraced and accepted for who they are. 

May these children experience a feeling of peace, calm, hope and joy that surpasses all human understanding.

May they all find genuine friends who will love, understand and appreciate their unique qualities and celebrate their differences at all times.

Lord, we lift up all the parents, families, friends, caregivers, and teaching staff and other relevant people who are involved in the lives of these children who have disabilities, and give them the ability, courage, faith and strength to keep going everyday.

Lord, we also ask for love, care, understanding and compassion for all children who are diagnosed, educated and treated for any kind of disability whether it be neurodevelopmental, intellectual, physical, sensory or multiple disabilities.

May each child learn, grow and progress in his or her own time.

May each child go on to find fulfillment in their lives and rightful their place this world.

Lord, I praise you for in the last 12 months I have witnessed at least 1 or 2 children who were diagnosed as non-verbal develop some speech, they may not talk in full sentences or even pronounce their words correctly but they are slowly but surely using their voices, and what beautiful voices they have!!

I pray and seal this prayer in your name Lord.

Amen...Let it be so 🙏🏻🕊️
