To literally see that the causes of mental/psychological problems are often totally different than what were thought - misdiagnosed [up to now, psuchiatry was mostly hit or miss] - and then often "miraculously" cure them!

At the very least, it could currently be used to prevent false negative or positive diagnoses of autism, 

Brain scans have already brought us far greater understanding of how autism operates as a complex syndrome across a wide spectrum, and can guide doctors invaluably  in treating  cases.  Their usefulness will contine to increase.
