Sometimes I HATE comment sections. Everytime I read an article about refugees escaping war they're referred to like they're a rat infestation. Why is this? The two most common complaints trying to justify this blind hatred are people assuming they're terrorists and fearing they'll just feed off the gov't of the country they're going to like parasites. Yes, they're are terrorist from there, but you can't assume everyone is. They're are also people from the U.S. that are terrorists and they're also U.S. citizens feeding off the government. We can't judge people based off where they're from. Most just want a good, safe life. Is that too much to ask for? During World War 2 we turned away a bunch of Jewish people escaping Hitler blinded by this same mentally and most died because of this. I heard this from a teacher a few years ago. Do you want to make that same mistake? Try putting youself in their shoes and imagine their pain. They're running for their lives in a place they once called home. How would you feel if you had to flee the only home you ever known and then were referred to as a pest? Some are relying on smugglers who don't care about them they're so desperate! Are you really going to call these people pests now!? Wish I had a better topic. Don't forget to smile smile smile and to give other people a reason to.
