A power I had to learned to control is my imagination. To appease my superiors, I learned to daydream with my eyes open, then I learned to daydream and look at a particular subject so I seemed like I was paying attention, now I can day dream while listening and responding to conversation.Getting ready in the morning for middle school was an arduous task because of it. My mother would barge in my room to check if I was picking out clothes, and if I was laying on my bed dreaming, I’d get a yell.I would frequently stare at my clothes, lost in space, but my mother caught onto this very quickly.“She’s just sitting there staring, not doing anything.” She would say to my father. If only she knew I was living a thousand lives.
I think we all have days where we don't feel like getting up. Your not alone 😊
