About Me
I am an unapologetic Atheist with Asperger's Syndrome (ASD Type 1). I was retrospectively diagnosed in 1992, well after the critical time an Aspie has the best chance of learning vital social skills. In my case, the support was non-existent, because of negligent parents and a failed compulsory education system in the '70s and '80s.
I am a retired Critical Care Respiratory Care Practitioner after a 22 year career, sidelined because of a diagnosis of Restrictive Cardiomyopathy in 2008. I was a healthcare provider and educator who managed ventilators (life-support machines) for critically ill hospital patients.

I am a victim of the much televised Northern California Camp Fire of November 8, 2018, where the Town of Paradise, Butte County, with a population of 40,000+, was burned to the ground by the negligence of Pacific Gas and Electric Corporation. I am awaiting a lawsuit settlement. I moved to North Dakota to retreat from the trauma of that devastation, a toxic marriage of 32 years (and the criminal in-laws), and for a fresh restart. The two portraits above reflect how much I have physically aged as a result of the stress I endured. The long-haired one is from 2017, and the short-haired one is from 2019.
